• Primary raw material = High-density polyethylene (HDPE), think milk jugs and detergent bottles
• Added UV-inhibited pigment systems to help maintain color throughout, not just on the surface.
• Also includes foaming compounds and selected process additives

What is HDPE?

HDPE (high-density polyethylene) is a durable plastic widely used to make milk jugs, laundry detergent containers, bottle caps, and more. While plastic isn’t biodegradable, post-consumer HDPE bottle waste can be
transformed and reused for many applications, including outdoor furniture.

Residue such as food, paper, and adhesives are removed through a decontamination process and once clean,
it’s transformed into durable POLYWOOD lumber.

We reclaim over 99% of our factory waste & recycle it back into the manufacturing line.
