When I received my chairs

"When I received my chairs and table, I opened one box to start assembling the first chair and noticed a huge scratch running from side to side on the sitting portion of the chairs. I then pulled out the second chair and noticed it had a “Polywood” label instead of Trex! I purchased this from the Trex website. When I call about warranty and go to the online site mentioned on the paper, both are Polywood websites. I got to the point that I just returned all of it for full refund. In the meantime Trex sends me a replacement seat top. I’m told on the phone by the Polywood rep that they are partners yet I could only talk to Polywood reps and it was clear they were unable to communicate together. Now I have a large box with seat top and can’t get anyone to reply to emails as to what I do with this. Complete chaos with Trex now. No lore business from me eventhough I have a lot of flooring and furniture from them."

Comfy chairs but less sturdy than hoped.

"The chairs are comfy, easy to ansemble and the colors are great. However, they’re not particularly sturdy. When you think of an Adirondack chair, you think solid and stable. This chair may not last more than a few years as it does wiggle around a bit when you sit in it. I don’t have experience with the non wood chairs enough to know. Still, I think it’s worth the cost in comparison to other brands."

We ordered the three-piece set

"We ordered the three-piece set on April 29, and received one chair and the small table on 5/2. As of today 5/13 I still haven’t received the second chair. Customer service said it was left on the dock. Truly can’t fathom that you can order a three-piece set and only receive two pieces, and no one can tell me when I will receive the final piece that I have paid for in full. Won’t be ordering from Trex again"

does the furniture have a wood grain look like the Trex decking?
Hi Barrbara, Great question! The furniture material is different than the Trex Decking material. The furniture is made from recycled HDPE and has a slight texture so the finish feels fairly smooth to the touch. We try to give it the same look as lumber as much as we can.
