What is HDPE?

HDPE plastic is used to make a range of products, from milk jugs and shampoo bottles to playground equipment and outdoor furniture. It's safe, durable, and infinitely recyclable.

Does the lumber resist fading and sun damage?

Yes! We blend light-stable pigments, UV inhibitors, and other protectants into the lumber to prevent fading and sun damage.

Can I sand or paint my furniture?

Trex Outdoor Furniture never needs to be painted, stained, sanded, or sealed to maintain its appearance. In fact, we advise against it, as doing so voids the warranty.

Is the lumber color only on the surface?

The color is not a surface veneer. It runs throughout the lumber material.

How do I clean the lumber?

To clean the lumber, all you need is soapy water and a soft-bristle brush. A quick scrub and rinse with clean water, and your furniture is good to go.
