The assembly of set is

"The assembly of set is finally complete. The first step is to install the front legs and then the front horizontal cross bar. This crossbar is in a separate box inside the main shipping box. They were not the right part. Both were too short and neither had the required pre drilled screw holes. It was Saturday, so used their website to file an issue with pictures, the correct parts were here by mid week. Did the assembly on the following Saturday and they are awesome, except missing the trex logo that goes into the recessed slot on one of the chairs. Entered another issue on their website and extra stick on logos arrived today. Overall the set is awesome. I have multiple Trex items and they never disappoint. The parts issues were annoying but, life happen, and they rectified issues quickly. Never had issues in the past with Trex products. Since Trex is simply a brand license to Polywood who manufactures their products, I wonder if the acquisition of Polywood by a private equity firm in March 2024 has anything to do with it. Overall I am happy with purchase. I also purchased 2 of of the matching foldable ottomans. One thing they should do is add short 2-3 inch retention cables to the plugs that are removed to fold so you don't misplace them. I have made my own so all good."

Very nice chairs

"This set appears to be well-crafted and sturdy. The shipment was prompt, and the assembly process was straightforward, although it would be easier with two people, particularly during the final step. I noticed that one part in each chair lacked the drilling holes it should have had. I did not want to drill the holes myself, so I contacted customer service and requested a replacement part. Additionally, two of the pins in one of the chairs were different from the chair’s color. Daylon, from customer service, promptly sent replacement parts. Although I am satisfied with the chairs and the exceptional customer service, I believe that the quality control process needs improvement before the shipment of the items."

"We LOVE our new Trex patio set. We bought 2 sets of the 2 Cape Cod folding chair and table sets in Rainforest Canopy. They were very easy to assemble, are comfortable and look really nice on our new patio. We will enjoy the low maintenance quality of these sets for years to come. This was money well spent!"

We love the way our

"We love the way our little set looks on our patio. these chairs were sold as folding. We have other Adirondack chairs that fold completely, with no disassembly. That is what we were expecting, however we learned that you have to remove, and keep track of, pegs for these chairs to fold for storage. Having to pay more for white also frosted our knickers but hey, we all know about money grabs. . . hence the four stars."

Purchase of 2 Sets with tables.

"Writing a review when something is new seems a bit useless. Ask me in 5 years. Overall we are pleased with our chairs. The material appears a bit plastic-like, but we did purchase them because of the durability of Trex, as our last chairs were made of some sort of pressboard or manufactured material and did not last, ven though they were brought in during the winter months. The top of the arms of the Trex Chairs are a bit narrower than our old chairs and it’s seems obvious they are not wooden, but they look fine. While the Trex chairs arrived without damage, the assembly of one chair had not been completed. So we had to contact the company to get screws to finish the job. While it wasn’t difficult to assemble, it was a bit annoying when you purchase something and it has an issue after waiting several weeks. Overall the chairs meet our needs and are attractive. The only other comment is that Trex Outdoor Furniture also had a 2nd company called Polywood that we came across. Not clear on the difference but it does cause some confusion when I discovered the second entity name."
